The Journey to Delta 8 Honey

Honey High was founded in 2022 in sunny Florida, but the journey began long before that.

Delta 8 Honey isn’t just another product for us. It’s something we created for ourselves because we couldn’t find anything like it, anywhere else.

Before Honey High, we were two cannabis enthusiasts frustrated with the Delta 8 edibles on the market for two reasons.

First, they lacked in quality due to impure / synthetic Delta 8 THC and were severely underdosed.

Second, we’re pretty health-conscious and all edibles seem to be junk foods with artificial ingredients such as sweeteners, preservatives and colors.

After tons of searching, we couldn’t find an edible that met our needs or standards.

So, we figured, we’d just create our own.

The idea of honey didn’t come quickly but when it did, it was a true ah-ha moment.

It’s a superfood so it’s extremely healthy, naturally sweet, and versatile. Meaning it can be taken by itself or mixed in other things such as coffee, tea, used as a topping and even an ingredient in baking.

And because it’s a liquid, it makes dosing with teaspoons effortless and precise.

But getting the recipe just right wasn’t easy. We spent months perfecting it.

Ensuring the taste was perfect, dosed to our liking and consistent throughout the bottle.

And making sure the ingredients were the best was a priority.

Clean and pure clover honey which in our opinion, is the best tasting honey.

Real Delta 8 THC. None of that synthetic stuff. And on top of it, we wanted it to be pure and come from 100% organically grown hemp.

And third, we needed to find the healthiest natural binder to hold the two together, so they didn’t separate.

Most “health food products” use soy lecithin because it’s the cheapest. But it’s extracted from GMO soybeans using chemical solvents.

We chose to use sunflower lecithin because it’s a nutrient our bodies can benefit from and is extracted from non-GMO sunflower seeds through cold-pressing, which is a natural process and preserves more nutrients.

*Side note for anyone who doesn’t know what lecithin is.

Lecithin is found naturally in many foods such as egg yolks and in the human body.

Lecithin plays important roles in the body, including:
• Emulsifying fats, which helps break down and absorb fats in the digestive system
• Maintaining cell membranes
• Producing choline, a nutrient that is essential for brain health

Finally, after months of experimenting with different recipes, we finally got it perfect.

It was better than we could have ever expected.

We started sharing it with friends and family, the feedback was overwhelming. They couldn’t get enough, and they kept telling us, “You have to sell this!”

At first, we weren’t sure. We weren’t business people. Just two regular folks who made something for ourselves and that we loved.

But we did believe that others should have access to it because we knew there had to be more people in the same boat we were in.

So, we took a leap of faith and started Honey High.

The response from the beginning has been incredible. Hearing from people who love what we’ve created and thanking us for making it has been overwhelming in the most beautiful way.

We truly did not realize the profound effect it was going to have on people’s lives and how many people truly needed an edible like this.

Not just because it’s a healthier choice but because of how effective it is.
