Frequently Asked Questions

What is Delta 8 THC?

Delta 8 THC is a cannabinoid on the cannabis plant (also referred to as pot). There are over 100 cannabinoids and they all serve their own unique purpose.

One of the other most popular cannabinoids is CBD. Which is very different from Delta 8 THC and Delta 9 THC.

They are all naturally occurring on the cannabis plant.

Delta-8-Tetrahydrocannabinol (Delta-8-THCΔ8-THC) is a psychoactive cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant.[1][2] It is an isomer of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (Delta-9-THC, Δ9-THC), the compound commonly known as THC. Due to some of this information making certain health claims about the effects of Delta-8 THC we cannot go into much more detail. If you are interested in learning more please see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delta-8-Tetrahydrocannabinol

Why is Delta 8 legal in some states?

The reason why is because the only federally illegal cannabinoid is Delta 9 THC.

The reason that is the only cannabinoid that's federally illegal is because it is the most predominant cannabinoid on the cannabis plant that is psychoactive (but not the only one) so they choose that specific one to outlaw.

But that was before people were able to exact other cannabinoids. So for a long time, cannabis was banned as a whole.

Today, we are able to extract specific cannabinoids off the plant and leave the Delta 9 THC behind.

That's why we now have legal cannabinoids such as CBD and Delta 8 THC. But don't get them mixed up because they have extremely different effects.

What is the difference between CBD and Delta 8 THC?

CBD is non-psychoactive so it does not produce a 'high' where as Delta 8 THC is like Delta 9 THC and is psychoactive giving you a 'high'.

Does Delta 8 THC get you 'high'?

Yes. Delta 8 THC is psychoactive just like Delta 9 (regular/ illegal THC) which causes the effect people refer to as a 'high' or a 'buzz'.

So Delta 8 THC does indeed get you 'high'.

What is the difference between Delta 8 THC and Delta 9 THC (regular/ illegal THC)?

The difference besides their legal statues is, Delta 8 THC is slightly less potent than it's closest relative Delta 9 THC.

That's it.

Both are THC.

Both are naturally occurring cannabinoids on the cannabis plant.

And both are psychoactive which is what gives you a 'high'.

Because our Delta 8 Honey is so potent you most-likely won't even be able to tell a difference between the two.

What are the ingredient in the honey?

Ingredients: Honey, Sunflower Lecithin, Delta 8 THC Extract

Honey type: Clove Honey

Our Delta 8 THC Extract is derived from the hemp plant

Sunflower Lecithin is a natural emulsifier (it stops the honey and Delta 8 from separating) While all lecithin can offer health benefits, sunflower lecithin is the most healthy and equally beneficial. It’s rich in vitamins, minerals, and other important compounds needed in the body. It’s also the only guaranteed lecithin source that is non-GMO with a very low allergen record. Does Delta 8 have any side effects?

So far, there's very little research on the potential side effects of Delta 8. These may include: Anxiety, dry mouth, Increased appetite, Reduced blood pressure, Slowed reaction time, Hallucinations, Alterations in mood or perception, Memory impairment, Impaired motor skills, Nausea & Vomiting, Tremors, Loss of Consciousness, Confusion. It is important to start with a low dose and increase gradually to avoid these side effects. These side effects are associated with THC in general.
